This month, HTANI hosted a free event on the Partition of Ireland at PRONI.
Dr Alan McCully, Ulster University, presided over the free event which focused on the Partition of Ireland as taught at A level. Ellen Bell, PhD student, Ulster University, demonstrated the Partition portal, an online resource that brings together primary and secondary sources relating to the Partition of Ireland. Dr Russell Rees, author of Ireland 1900-1925, delivered an enjoyable and insightful lecture on the politics of the Home Rule Crisis, 1912-1914. Guidance on the CCEA A2 2 exam was also provided. A big thank you to Dr Russell Rees, PRONI and the attendees for making it such an enjoyable afternoon.
