This free event focuses on the Partition of Ireland as taught at A level (A22 Option 4). A new online resource, based on extensive use of primary sources, will be demonstrated by its creator, PhD student Ellen Bell. This fantastic resource will be of immense interest to teachers, lecturers and educators of Irish history. The second part of the event will comprise a lecture by Dr Russell Rees on the 1912-16 period, followed by guidance and a discussion of the (exam) skills required to analyse 'interpretations' of history.
