VIDEO
A series of 50 minute documentaries made by the RTE and the BBC, available on YouTube. Although 40 years old, these programmes continue to provide useful excerpts for illustrating aspects of the Partition narrative. From programme 7 onward are relevant to the A level specification.

National Archives UK online collection features Cabinet Papers collated by historic event. Collections include Irish Nationalism; which looks at the Conscription Crisis, the War of Independence, Truce and Partition & Civil War.

National Archives Ireland have collated many of their documents relating to the treaty into the Treaty exhibition. Documents include annotated draft treaties and correspondence between plenipotentiaries.

NLI on Flickr
The National Library of Ireland have curated collections of photographs on Flickr. Topics of relevance to the A Level specification include the Easter Rising, War of Independence and Irish Civil War. The War of Independence collection contains reportage images of the conflict including the Burning of Cork.

The Imperial War Museum hosts an Irish War of independence image collection which features reportage images of the British army in Ireland and the aftermath of attacks including ruined police stations and mined roads.

Although a website intended for Key stage 3, Transformations contains a great collection of ephemera relating to key topics in the A level specification including Souvenir plates, postcards and posters from the Home Rule Crisis.
